Friday Favorites Vol. 2

We are getting close to Christmas. Don’t you just love this time of year with little ones? It can get so crazy with all the to-do’s but if we just force ourselves to slow down and watch from the eyes of our children, there is magic all around. My love language is giving gifts, so I usually end up shopping for Christmas starting in the summer when I see something perfect for someone I love. It is so fun for me. Here are some of favorite gifts to give (and receive) for this year:

  1. The Hydroflask: My husband makes fun of me because at first I was not convinced that we needed ANOTHER waterbottle… especially one that cost $20+… but when he bought me one for my birthday, I became a believer! This water bottle keeps hot liquids hot and cold liquids cold for crazy amounts of time. I love leaving it in my car during the summer and knowing I will return to cold water. I bought the straw lid that goes with it and that has made it even better.
  2. Tubby Todd Bath Soap: This Lavender bubble bath and lotion smells like a dream. My friend Andrea actually started this company, and she is getting rave reviews over her awesome baby bath products. My baby Jackson had eczema and cradle cap pretty bad, but once I started using these products on his sensitive skin, it cleared up in no time. Pictured above at the basic products, but I also love the Dream Cream for his dry patches.
  3. Made by Mary jewelry: My husband bought me the best Christmas gift this year (aka… I saw her site was running a sale so I bought myself a necklace I’ve been coveting and called it a Christmas gift from Pete). It’s a simple gold, bar necklace that says “Mama.” It is so dainty and beautiful. Plus, no matter how many kids I have, I don’t have to keep adding charms to the necklace. I’m always Mama.

There ya go… three of my favorite things for Christmas. Hope you’re finding those special somethings for everyone on your list.
